What You Say
In life, God gives you two choices:
You can say what you have.
OR
You can have what you say!
In other words, you are perfectly free to confess only what you see, hear, smell, taste, and touch as your reality. OR, as a royal heir of the most high God, you can speak things into being by faith. That is the power of supernatural creativity that lies within the grasp of every son of God.
The ability to create with words is a reflection of our true Father in heaven. He creates with words.
In the beginning was the word... John 1:1
Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
Psalm 33:8,9
God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as thought they were [are].
Romans 4:17
God speaks things into existence. They come into existence by the power of His word. As His offspring, we are to do likewise. We bring His words into existence by speaking them without a doubt. To believe is to accept something as true, to live in a state that it is real. That is a simple but powerful definition of believing, “to accept it at true.” Do you accept God's word as true, or your circumstances? Unfortunately the average child of God confesses what their circumstances reflect to be true, rather than the promises of God, and consequently they live far below par in this world.
Jesus demonstrated this amazing power one day when he was walking with his disciples. They came across a fig tree that was not going to bear fruit, and Jesus SPOKE TO THE TREE saying, “No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.” And his disciples heard it. The next day, coming out of the city, they passed by the same fig tree, and the disciples marveled because it was dried (dead) from the roots up.
Jesus demonstrated that his words had supernatural power. He demonstrated for them how to walk in this present world. What came next is one of the great lessons in abundant living ever recorded. He said:
Have faith in God!
I assure you that you can SAY to this mountain, “May God lift you up and throw you into the sea.” and your command (WORDS) will be obeyed!
All that is required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart.
Mark 11:22-24
Jesus ASSURED them that this will work. That is so powerful! And he broke it down into three steps:
#1 - have faith in the unlimited supernatural power of God, not in your own puny power.
#2 - SPEAK to the problem.
#3 - really believe, do not doubt in your heart.
The last one brings it all together, “ALL that is required is that you REALLY believe and do not doubt in your heart.” He said “all that is required,” is to REALLY believe. All that is required is to accept God's word as TRUE! Do not doubt in your heart. In a battle between your conscious mind and your heart, the heart will always win. That is why you need to hide God's word, hide God’s promises in your heart, because out of your heart are the issues (realities) of your life. When your heart and your mouth are in harmony - watch out; you can literally move mountains! Jesus assured us that this will work!
Jesus said, "This works." You will receive what you pray for (speak), IF you really believe. How do you do that? You trust God above your circumstances, you speak to your problem in faith, and you do not doubt in your heart. The more you do that, the better you will get at it. It’s called exercising your faith.
You already have the faith of Jesus Christ spiritually, but you are responsible to exercise it. It belongs to you, and it is yours to use. But, it’s just like exercising your muscles, if you don’t use them you "lose" them, they atrophy. But if you are using your faith on a daily basis you get stronger and stronger in your own mind as to its efficacy. You in effect “build your believing.” It is because Abraham was strong in faith, that he believed God’s promise over the weakness of his own body. He trusted God more than his own circumstances, and became the father of many nations. There you have it.
You can say what your have. (five senses)
OR
You can have what you say! (supernatural)
I would rather have what I say, according to God’s promises, for "We walk by faith, and not by sight." II Corinthians 5:7
God’s word is TRUE. Our heavenly Father designed life that we might have it more abundantly. The way we tap into the abundant life is to believe that we are who God says we are, and that we have what the word of God says we have, no matter what our current circumstances look like. WE must believe GOD over the physician, over the banker, over our best friend, even over our own mind.
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;
Romans 3:4
Because, life and death are in the power of the tongue, and receiving God’s promises depends on us speaking God’s truth into a situation by faith.
When it comes to who to believe, God has got to be first in your heart. That is how you walk in supernatural victory. That is how you manifest the more abundant life that Jesus came to give you. But you must control your tongue. You must think about what you are thinking about, and line your thinking up with the words of God. If you are confessing negatives all the time, don't wonder why you are receiving negatives in your life, it is the spiritual law of faith in action.
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? NO! but by the law of faith.
Romans 3:27
Control your thinking, control your mouth, and you control your life. It is a spiritual law that works with a mathematical exactness and a scientific precision. God set this law up to prosper YOU! You can have whatsoever you say, according to God’s word. And in living this way, you bring glory to your Father, who is in heaven.
Only He who knows the Invisible, can do the impossible.
You can have what you say.
Love and Blessings,
